Hi I'm Stephen

About Me

I've been married to my beautiful wife and eternal companion for 6 years. We have one gorgeous little girl. Being a dad has been one of the most life-changing experiences ever. I'm grateful for the knowledge that we will be a family for all eternity. I am also a professional Video Game Tester. From any major video game console to simple Facebook games I have tested them all. My ultimate desire is to move into Game Design and I know with hard work and dedication that it will happen in time.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the LDS church but that doesn't mean I've always been strong in my faith. I had to find the truth for myself. What I found was a religion that never leaves me doubting and actively encourages me to find answers to the questions I have. But to me, the greatest gift is knowing that my family will be together in the next life. That knowledge fills everyday with joy.

Personal Stories

Please explain the part prayer plays in your life?

During my teenage years I began to fall away from the church. I would attend our services on a sporadic basis at best. I didn't go on my mission and I ended up in massive amount of debt due to credit cards. It was only then when I felt that my life was quickly spiraling out of control that on one snowy March morning that I finally fell to my knees in complete humility. I was at a bus stop that morning waiting to go to work when my sense of guilt finally overwhelmed me. I prayed like I had never prayed before. I willingly put my life in my Heavenly Father's hands. When I finally rose I had missed my bus, but I wasn't concerned about that. I stood with the firm knowledge that I could be forgiven and that I could make amends for what I had done. Since that day I pray often. I have come to love the knowledge I can communicate with my Heavenly Father directly and that he will hear and answer my prayers. Even if its not always the answer that I want.

How I live my faith

Has an avid gamer I try to educate people on what types of games are available. I want to change the face of gaming so it is no longer focused on the sex and violence but instead on the fun and on the educational value that can be found in video games.
