Hi I'm Kody

About Me

Hi, I'm Kody. I love to run and have fun with my friends and family. Recently I graduated from White River High School and have been called to serve a full time mission in the Ecuador Guayaquil North mission. Once I return from my mission I will be attending Utah State University and will be competing for their cross country and track teams. I am the only son and oldest of four children. I love being with my family and doing activities with them such as hiking and attending sporting events with them. I enjoy sports; especially football, baseball, and college basketball. I am currently working as a painter while I wait for my departure to Ecuador and plan on pursueing a career in Sports Medicine when I return.

Why I am a Mormon

I was lucky enough to have been born into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and have awesome parents that have raised me in the church. I do have my own testimony though. I have grown to know of the divine nature of my Heavenly Father and through reading the Book of Mormon and attending church I have found that this church truly has everything I am looking for. I know that the Book of Mormon is true. Since I know the Book of Mormon is true I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet and called of God at this day and age to restore the gospel of Jesus Christ to this Earth. i know that through my Savior Jesus Christ and his atoning sacrifice for me I can return to live with Him someday. Thanks to his church I will also be able to live with my family forever and be forever exalted on the right hand of my Savior Jesus Christ if I follow his teaching and strive to be my very best each and every day.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending my church meetings each week, trying my best to study my scriptures and learn the gospel for myself, and preparing to serve a full time mission. I enjoy meeting with my fellow members of my ward because the environment is so inviting and friendly. Everyone cares about everyone and are all there for the same purpose.
