Hi I'm Dalton

About Me

I am just out of school preparing to go on my mission. After which I plan on going to college to become a diesel technician. I really enjoy spending time out on the water in the boat. I really don't care what it is that i'm doing on the boat but my favorite thing is fishing. I enjoy saltwater fishing the most and am really into bottom fish and salmon. Lately I have just started fishing for tuna and I will tell you it is the best fight you will ever have in your life. My other main hobby is snowmobiling. I will usually go every weekend from the end of october to the end of april. I also enjoy working on vehicles. I do almost all of my own mechanical work.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member since I was born so I don't have any great conversion story. However I do have a very strong testimony of how true this church really is. I won't lie I haven't been the perfect member but at the same time that has allowed me to grow so much. I personally know that this church is true and that I am loved by my father in heaven and by my brother Jesus Christ. I also know that the Book of Mormon is true and I have had the chance to read it and get on my knees and ask in earnest prayer to learn for myself if it is true. I was able to recieve that revelation that the Book of Mormon was truly the word of the prophets of God. I know that we have a true prophet of God on the earth today and he really does give us revelation to help us, that comes directly from God. I am so glad for the Atonement of Christ and the chance it has given me to repent for my sins so that I might return to live with my Father in heaven when the time comes. I am so grateful for the blessing of eternal family and knowing that you can be with your family for time and all eternity. I am just so grateful for the chance I have to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and all the blessings I recieve from being a member.

How I live my faith

I have been lucky enough to be able to be a leader to my fellow young men. I was able to lead them by example as well as helping them plan activities that not only bring us closer together as friends but also closer together as brothers and members of the church. It was a great blessing to me as I was not only able to help my fellow young men but it helped me personally to grow more than they may ever know and I thank them for that.
