Jeannette Rhodes: Mormon.

Hi I'm Jeannette Rhodes

About Me

I'm a wife and mother of 4 older and married children. I have 9 absolutly adorable grandchildren. I come from a musical heritage. I play the paino and sing.....I love crocheting, knitting, sewing, all kinds of crafts. I have recently taken up photography, just as a hobby..... it sure makes you look at things through a different eyes......! I grew up in a large family. I have 6 brothers (1 passed away) and 2 sisters. I am so grateful for wonderful parents and siblings.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized a member at age 8 years old. My family on my Mom's side are long time members (pioneer stock). My Dad was the first and only member in his family. I am so thankful to be a member of the Mormon church. I am grateful for living prophets, the Book of Mormon. I'm grateful for the knowledge we have of who we are, as human beings and where we come from, why we are here on the earth. It gives me great peace and hope to know what this life is all about. I love my Savior, Jesus Christ, and I KNOW He loves me.

Personal Stories

How can your talents and gifts bless others?

One of my talents is playing the piano and singing. Music communicates with the feelings of the heart and the spirit directly. Good, uplifting music makes us feel good and do good things. It brings joy and peace and harmony to the soul.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by reading my scriptures every day, saying my prayers every day, trying to keep the basic 10 commandments, and trying to keep the promises I made with my Heavenly Father when I was baptized. I attend my church meetings faithfully every Sunday. I love working and serving in the Lord's kingdom. I am in charge of the music in our ward. I've held every music position, there is, in the church, except one.
