Hi I'm Chugg
I am single and a Digital Media major. I enjoy building video games like the Cake Blast iPhone game I made in my game design class. What I like more about video games though is the positive impacts they can have on people's lives. Although games are my focus I like doing other activities as well such as debate, drama, and dance. I do all this because I want to be a hero.
Why I am a Mormon
I am Mormon because I believe Heavenly Father has a plan for all his children to grow and become like him. I believe heavenly father is just and merciful and he loves me and I love him. He helps me when I am not sure what to do next and I ask him in faith. I know this world is full of challenges, evil, and sadness. I believe he allows his children to choose wrong because he wants us to learn from these mistakes, repent and than choose the right. We can't understand happiness without understanding it's opposite. I choose to be a Mormon because I want to return to Heavenly Father and be with him forever.
What is hope and what do you hope for?
Hope is one of those things that's easy to see when a person has it with them or does not. Why's that? They always seem to be confident, optimistic, enthusiastic and more patient. They just seem to know everything is going to work out in the end. That is because when we have hope, we believe that Heavenly Father is going to help us in all of our righteous desires. I hope to work for Nintendo and get married in the temple someday. (If I only get one of them, I'll take getting married) I know when we listen to the spirit, Heavenly Father will provide a way.
How I live my faith
The best way to live my faith is to try my best to have all the attributes of Christ. Be charitable, kind, considerate, wise, patience, honest, chaste, benevolent. As I go through my day, I try to find ways to do this with all who I encounter. I am not perfect, but I try to be like my hero which is Christ. Also I live my faith by serving faithfully in my calling in my ward. Currently in my singles ward(a ward with members around 18 to 30 that are not married.), I am in charge on maintaining our ward's calendar on the ward's website. This is a great way to help members in the ward find out about up coming activities and maybe bring along a date.
