Hi I'm Tami
I'm a mother of three children. I'm going to graduate school at the University of Georgia. I love sports, including college football, basketball, and lacrosse. I enjoy cooking and was a professional cake decorator for several years. I am a total math nerd and occasionally do math in my free time!
Why I am a Mormon
Being a Mormon gives me great purpose in my life. Knowing where I came from, why I'm here and where I'm going allows me to live my life in a way that is pleasing to my Heavenly Father. I know that I lived with my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ before I was born. We have all chosen to live on the Earth to be tried and tested. This is how we learn and grow. After this life, we will return to live again. When I think of things this way it makes hard times a little easier.
How I live my faith
I'm currently responsible for the young women ages 12-18. I have several other women who help me teach Sunday lessons as well as provide meaningful activities for these girls on Wednesday nights. Working with them is great. It gives me the opportunity to teach and mentor them in the gospel of Jesus Christ. I'm also an active member of our community. I participate in the booster clubs at the high school as well as help out at our local middle school.
