Steve: Mormon.

Hi I'm Steve

About Me

I have recently finished my doctorate degree and am currently particing as a physical therapist. In my free time I like to spend time with my family. I am a recent father of a active girl and enjoy watching her grow. My choice of exercise is cycling. Other hobbies are photography and traveling to other cultures and countries.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I know the religion to be true. When I was 14 years old I decided to pray to know if the Book of Mormon and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true. I was born mormon, but I decided that if I was going to live the life of mormonism I needed to know these things to be true for myself. During my prayer I had a simple sweet witness that these things are true, I knew they were, I had no doubt in my mind the truth of this gospel. I have prayed many times since then and have never received a different answer. I live my faith because I know it to be true

Personal Stories

Why/How do you share the gospel with your friends?

I teach the gospel by example. I have been asked several times why I don't do; or why I do certain things. That has opened the door for conversation of why I believe and follow my religion. I don't believe in forcing people to believe in certain things, but that you should help people become better no matter what religion they are. Simply put missionary work is bringing others to Christ

How I live my faith

I am involved in my local church working with the men. I have a chance to teach occational sunday school lessons, which I enjoy because it gives me a chance to learn and teach others how to become a better personwhat. I am also a home teacher, which means I have several families in the comunity that I visit monthly to share a spiritual message and make sure they are doing ok. Daily I strive to live my religion by avoiding inappropriate TV shows or movies, attend church once a week, visit a local temple once a month to participate in temple work, and I pay 10% of my income in tithing.
