I've been blessed with 3 great kids and a very happy marriage of 34 years. I enjoy bicycling, snorkeling, painting, and playing my ukuleles. I'd rate myself as a very happy person.
I joined the church when I was 22. Believe me when I say, "It was a MAJOR change in the direction and focus of my life!" It was the best decision I've ever made and I've never looked back. In a world so full of commotion and confusion it is still possible to move forward with clarity and conviction in your life. If you REALLY want answers about life's toughest questions, they ARE available. God allows us to make out own decisions but He is ready to help. You just have to ask with a sincere heart and a willingness to change and He WILL be there for you. I know it's true... Been there... done that! The peace of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is REAL and waiting for you.
Hope and faith seem to go hand-in-hand. I was recently enlightened when I heard "hope" described as having a greater circumference than faith. Hope is always out there on the far horizon looking for every possible opportunity to strengthen your resolve to press forward. Hope often reports back to HQ (faith) all of the reasons why you should be encouraged. Passing storm clouds in life are just that... passing! There is ALWAYS hope on the horizon... and hope is on our side in life's battles. Keep charging over that hill. God is watching our every move and is still running the show. And God knows us personally. He wants us to win this battle! Hope is alive and well and working in our lives... if we'll let it!
I've been a TV WeatherGuy for many years so I've become very well known in my community. I'm the Mormon meteorologist with all eyes on my every move. What a great ride it has been! Because of my high public profile, I've enjoyed many opportunities for public speaking... something I enjoy very much.
