Robyn: Mormon.

Hi I'm Robyn

About Me

I am a stay at home mom. I have 8 wonderful children and 7 awesome grandchildren (4 girls and 3 boys)! I love to do Family History and my present activities include working with the women in our ward. I like fishing and hunting with my husband (he does most of the fishing and hunting) and camping with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into and raised a member of this Church. I love the Gospel and the peace it brings to my life. I am a Mormon because I know the teachings are true. Even though I have always been a member, I have been converted to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I know it is true and that He is my savior. I love being a Mormon and I know that it blesses my life and my family.

Personal Stories

Please explain the part prayer plays in your life?

Prayer is my lifeline. It is the way I communicate with my Heavenly Father. I have a great feeling of peace in my life when I make daily prayer a habit. When I need extra help or comfort, it is just a prayer away.

How can we develop greater harmony in our homes?

I have found the best way to develop harmony in my home is to have family prayer and family scripture study everyday. These activities bring the Spirit of the Lord into our home and that makes it easier to be kind to one another. Other ways to invite harmony in our homes is to have pictures of the Savior and other uplifting art that depicts love and harmony. Having a family night and doing activities and service together also helps to develop harmony and love in our home.

How I live my faith

My family and I go to Church every Sunday. I work with the women of the Church. We have lessons about the Gospel and Jesus Christ on Sundays and we have monthly or bi-monthly activities where we get together and have fun and help others. Working with the women of the Church has helped me develop friendships with women of every age. I learn so much from the older women of the ward. They have such great insights into life.
